Yesterday (or earlier today, depending on where you live) a news story started to blow up on Twitter (at least that's where I noticed it) regarding Patreon. Later this month they will start to charge Patrons with transaction fees on top of their respective pledge, resulting in a steep increase for many a Patron.

In light of this, I decided to pause pledges to my Patreon throughout the entirety of January, meaning that my Patrons won't be charged during the month. I want to give each of them (and those who considered backing but lacked funds) the opportunity to think this through and not concern themselves with this issue during the holidays. (The timing couldn't be worse, imo.)
