Alright, time for a status update.

I've got a new car - yay! Been driving it for a couple of days now and I'm in love. It also has that "new car" smell - love, I tell you! Also, given that it's an Opel Corsa I dubbed it The Corsican. Whoever gets the pun, gets a cookie :D

Next item on the list, the print version. That's been a bit more tricky than I anticipated. Createspace, the place I wanted to print with has been rejecting the files a few times now, I hope this latest "fix" will finally convince these people that things are fine. Though that also lamented the cover size, first it was too large, now it's not large enough, given that it needs bleed. Depending on when and if that issue gets resolved the release date might have to be pushed back or I may have to look into crowdfunding after all. I'll keep you posted on this.

Also, work's been a beast lately. I hoped with some of our tasks now being done by other people things would ease up but that was a big illusion. I had to travel to the other side of the country to help the "new people" understand what they have to do and prior to that my colleague and I had to spend about as much time providing information on a daily basis as we would've been sitting just doing the thing. Also, lots of other colleagues are on vacation, you might be able to imagine how that makes things worse. This cover was literally all of my buffer. I'm confident I can get at least one page done this weekend, but I'd rather not live at the edge of a wannabe buffer for long. So if things get too stressful, I'll try to get through the first scene before potentially taking some time off again. I do look forward to actually working on new pages again, though :)

And last thing on today's agenda: SpiderForest is open for applications. If you're a creator and would like to be a part of a community of like-minded people, then now's your chance. Soul's Journey has been part of the SpiderForest roster for over two years now and I've had nothing but positive times so far.
